New podcast series features insights tips, tricks and solutions by Vollrath’s corporate chef Rich Rupp
Sheboygan, Wis. – The recently launched podcast series, “The Vollrath Feed”, hosted by Chef Rich Rupp, corporate chef and product training manager at The Vollrath Company, will release its fifth episode today featuring Mary Kastman of Driftless Café in Viroqua, Wis. discussing women in the foodservice industry and farm-to-table.
The podcast series features insights, tips, tricks and solutions from Chef Rich and includes discussions with foodservice industry experts and thought leaders. It focuses on the evolving nature of the foodservice industry, key industry trends, products, and how operators can differentiate themselves.
Recent episodes have discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting different areas of the foodservice industry. In episode 2, guest Chef Jereme McGovern discusses his mission to feed fellow Chicago foodservice workers during the pandemic that has forced so many businesses to change how they operate. Additionally, in episode 3, sanitation is discussed and the role it will play in the foodservice world post-COVID-19 with Chef Seth VanderLaan, the president and founder of the Heart of House Hospitality, which focuses on helping companies achieve culinary and sustainability goals.
“As the host of this new podcast, it’s a pleasure to bring forward these meaningful conversations about the foodservice industry. I have been fortunate to have had a long career spanning many different types of roles across it and have met many great people along the way,” said Rupp. “The purpose of this podcast is simple: to have meaningful conversations on the evolving nature of our industry. This seems more relevant now than ever.”
The podcast features chefs, instructors, authors, and thought-leaders from the foodservice industry. The first four episodes are currently available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
