Years ago, we found a handwritten letter from our founder, Jacob Vollrath. 

The writing provided a glimpse into the realities of our company's infancy. Times were tough and the future was uncertain.

As we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Vollrath's founding, we felt it was time to write Jacob back.
