Sheboygan, Wis. August 30, 2018 – The Vollrath Company, LLC, is proud to announce Terri Mayer, category manager for smallwares and countertop equipment, has been appointed president of the Cookware Manufacturers Association (CMA).

The CMA is a not-for-profit trade association owned by its members, which include manufacturers of cookware, bakeware and kitchenware with substantial operations and headquarters in the United States. With a history stretching back to the early 1920s, CMA’s mission is to inform and promote the industry to its members, their customers and to the general public.

The CMA helps develop engineering standards for the industry, disseminate information to consumers, retailers and manufacturers, and offer forums for members to learn about the latest advances in manufacturing, retailing, distribution and materials.

Mayer previously served on the CMA board of directors and most recently as the board vice president. In her new role, she will supervise and control all of the business and affairs of the association.

“We’re very proud of Terri and her commitment to the foodservice industry,” said Paul Egbert, vice president smallwares and countertop equipment for Vollrath Company. “Her involvement demonstrates her – and Vollrath’s – devotion to manufacturing excellence and bringing the highest quality cookware, bakeware and kitchenware to our foodservice channel partners and customers.”
