Job Summary

We are seeking an individual for the position of Inside Sales/Business Development. This person will drive revenue by meeting revenue goals with established accounts and new account as assigned. Responsible for lead/opportunity management including customer qualification of new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by meeting revenue goals with established accounts and new account as assigned  
  • Lead/opportunity management including customer qualification of new projects
  • Make outbound calls and lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers 
  • Build rapport; providing technical information and explanations
  • Prepare quotes
  • Handle inbound sales lead calls and convert to opportunities with goal to close sales deals and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use in sales leads with goal to develop pipeline.        

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years inside or outside sales experience with engineering background 
  • An understanding of new business development 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferred engineering or business background    
  • Ability to read and understand part drawings and specifications
  • Background in Metal Forming  plus
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM
  • Excellent communication skills and self-directed  
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
